The Bausch Foundation was named in honor of John Jacob Bausch, whose passion for improving eye health has inspired the Foundation's guiding principles.
The Foundation primarily supports eye health initiatives focused on disease prevention and improving patient outcomes. This includes advancing eye health education and deepening understanding of therapeutic areas like dry eye and glaucoma. We also work to enhance the education of eye care professionals, staff and technicians, while supporting the next generation through partnerships with organizations like the Rochester Robotics team.
Foundation leadership is also responsive to global relief efforts and helping those in need in communities where Bausch + Lomb operates.
